The hotel's rooms were perfectly equipped with amenities like a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities with biscuits, bottled water, alarm clock, and shower items. However, there was limited space on one side of the double bed. The quirky ambiance with slightly uneven floors added charm to the stay.

The hotel's location was ideal for socializing in the center of Usk, being in a pretty place near good pubs and the church. Though tired-looking, it was a perfect cycling pit stop with ample street parking.
